How long does company registration take? +
Once you submit all documents and payment is received, your company is registered within 24-48 hours. This applies to all packages.
Do I need to visit your office? +
No. The entire process is 100% online. You submit your details and documents through the online application form, and we handle everything at CIPC and SARS. Certificates are sent to your email.
What is a Pty Ltd company? +
A Private Company (Pty) Ltd is the most common business structure in South Africa. It gives your business its own legal identity, limits your personal liability, and allows you to open a business bank account.
Can foreigners register a company in South Africa? +
Yes. Foreign nationals can register a South African company. Tier 4 (R7,500) is built specifically for overseas/foreign directors and includes business bank account assistance.
What payment methods do you accept? +
We accept EFT/bank transfer, PayFast, and Ozow instant EFT. Payment happens via bank transfer after you submit the online application form — the banking details are shown on the confirmation screen.
What if my company name is rejected by CIPC? +
We ask for a few name options up front so if one is taken or rejected, we can immediately try the next. We'll advise you on alternatives at no extra cost.
What's the difference between Tier 4 and Foreign Company Setup? +
Tier 4 registers a brand-new South African Pty Ltd company for foreign/overseas directors. Foreign Company Setup (CoR20.1) instead registers a local branch of a company that already exists abroad. They are separate services at the same R7,500 price point — see the Pricing page for details.
Is VAT charged on COMPREGSA's fees? +
No, VAT is not charged on our professional fees. (This is separate from our VAT Registration service, which registers your company as a VAT vendor with SARS.)
